Neomycin / Dexamethasone Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology Neomycin / Dexamethasone improves the patient’s condition by performing the following functions: Preventing the bacterial growth by stopping the production of essential protein in the bacterial cells. Preventing late phase Allergic reactions by preventing release of chemicals responsible for allergy. Neomycin / Dexamethasone – Side-effects The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur in medicines that contain Neomycin / Dexamethasone. This is not a omprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.Damage To Ear, Sensitivity To Light , Blurred Vision, Fever ,Severe Allergy,Eye Ointments Can Cause Eye Surface Inflammation.
