Adults - 400 mg bid 7 to 10 days taken along with food. IV Infusion: Adults - 400mg in 100ml of 5% dextrose slow infusion over 1 hr bid. Caution should be exercised in patients with history of brain or spinal cord disease, epilepsy, kidney or liver impairment. Avoid exposure to sunlight; otherwise it may lead to severe sunburn. It should not be used in children below 12 years.
