    Nimodipine is used for Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, Ischemic Neurological Deficits, Ruptured Congenital Intracranial Aneurysms and other conditions.Nimodipine improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions: Relaxing and widening of blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through them thereby improving the blood supply to the brain. 

    The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur in medicines that contain Nimodipine. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.Low Blood Pressure Causing Dizziness,Reduced Number Of Platelets Causing Easy Bruising,Bleeding,Slow Or Irregular Heartbeat,Allergic Reaction,Swelling Of The Feet Or Hands.
